尚志館高校　英会話研究会の取組（外国の方に聞いた！SDGs）

　尚志館高校英語研究会の生徒さんは、昼休みなどにテレビ電話を使い、海外と交流を行っています。

　今回、生徒たちはＳＤＧｓについて、英会話講師のラファエルさん（フィリピン）と話をしました。

英語研究会

Ｑ：	What is the most interesting goal for you among 17 SDGs? ラファエルさんが1番興味のあるゴールは？
Ａ：	Among the SDGs, I would consider eliminating poverty, increasing work and economic growth through opportunities and establishing trustworthy and secure institutions to be the ones that hold the most importance to me.
訳：	ＳＤＧｓの中で、私は1番の「貧困をなくそう」、8番の「働きがいも経済成長も」、16番の「平和と公正をすべての人に」が自分にとって大切だと思える目標です。

Ｑ：

What is the most interesting goal for you among 17 SDGs?

ラファエルさんが1番興味のあるゴールは？

Ａ：

　Among the SDGs, I would consider eliminating poverty, increasing work and economic growth through opportunities and establishing trustworthy and secure institutions to be the ones that hold the most importance to me.

訳：

　ＳＤＧｓの中で、私は1番の「貧困をなくそう」、8番の「働きがいも経済成長も」、16番の「平和と公正をすべての人に」が自分にとって大切だと思える目標です。

Ｑ：	Why do you think so? その理由は？
Ａ：	Because I have lived in different countries, I was able to see how different societies functioned. Some countries have greater prosperity and equality than others, and it pains me to realize that so many people do not enjoy the same benefits and freedoms that those in more privileged countries enjoy.
訳：	なぜなら、私は様々な国に住んだことがあり、それぞれの社会機能の違いを見ることができたからです。ほかの国より発展し、平等な国もありました。そして多くの人たちは、そういったより特別な国の人たちと同じ利益や自由を享受できていないということに気づかされ、心を締め付けられる思いがしました。

Why do you think so?

その理由は？

Ａ：

　Because I have lived in different countries, I was able to see how different societies functioned. Ａ：	Other goals that I am interested in are having everyone have access to the same quality education so that everyone has the opportunity to fulfill their potential and not have economic or social issues keep them from their dreams. I would also seek out measures towards sustainability for the environment, to have a greener and cleaner Earth so that future generations will be able to live in a planet that they would be comfortable in.
訳：	私が興味を持っている他の目標は、誰もが同じ質の高い教育を受けられるようにすることです。そうすることで、誰もが自分の可能性を発揮する機会があり、経済的または社会的問題が彼らの夢を妨げないようできるからです。また、より環境にやさしく、将来の世代が快適に暮らしていられるような、よりクリーンな地球を実現するために、環境の持続可能性に向けた対策を模索したいです。

　私が興味を持っている他の目標は、誰もが同じ質の高い教育を受けられるようにすることです。そうすることで、誰もが自分の可能性を発揮する機会があり、経済的または社会的問題が彼らの夢を妨げないようできるからです。また、より環境にやさしく、将来の世代が快適に暮らしていられるような、よりクリーンな地球を実現するために、環境の持続可能性に向けた対策を模索したいです。
